LONG-SERVING Norwich City stalwart Andy Hughes has announced his retirement and the club, as a thank you to his services are offering the Norwich favourite a benefit match. The club officials hope to organise the game around Norwich City's busy Conference schedule.

Plenty of faces from the past have agreed to attend; it's likely that Simon Tracey will be in goal with Nicky Southall, Trevor Benjamin, Andy Roberts, Darren Beckford, Carl Bradshaw, Jason Minnett, Jurgen Colin and Daryl Sutch expected to make an appearance. The side will be managed by former Norwich Managers Bryan Hamilton and Gary Megson.

Tickets for this fixture are priced at ?2.50 for adults and ?1 for children and concession. A jubilent Andy Hughes commented "This is wonderful and I'm really looking forward to his game - and the ?5 get receipts at the end".

Meanwhile, Long-serving Norwich manager Nigel Worthington had distanced himself from the rumours linking him with Norwich United "There has been an enquiry, but that is about as far as it has gone. Notmean".
