The only thing that's 'really' s**t about the place is all the f**king roadworks. The town centre was dug up last year and completely repaved and a few new developments have been built on the old South Quay. They are now completely redoing the southbound A12 along the seafront (with it's European Blue Flag beaches) , making it single lane as a new road is opening later this year which dissects the southside of the town. Once all the bloody cones have gone and the roads in those areas are surfaced properly it will look pretty unrecognisable to those who haven't been to the area for a few years.
