Quite bluntly, you didn't have the education or experience to get a job paying sufficiently. That is a problem with the education system, not the asylum seekers.

Incidentally I think you will find there are far far more native Brits who are swindling the welfare state in order to drive around big cars and have state of the art technology in their houses, than asylum seekers fiddling the welfare (and in most cases to achieve a decent standard of living).

Why do you not get as vocal about the billions we are spending on invading Iraq and bombing Serbia, Afghanistan, etc ? It's far more than the costs incurred by Asylum seekers.
