It's not the defence. It's the midfield.

No defence in the world will keep clean sheets of the midfield keep coughing up the ball just in front of them.

Perhaps our defenders could do a bit better, but we have far better defensive personnel than we did at any point under lambert, the difference is, our midfield isn't as good.

We didn't give it away in positions that hurt us. Surman, Lansbury, fox, crofts, wes, they all used the ball very very well. Even crofts.
