I can't help but think....

Damo getting a broken cheek bone earlier in the season in a "freak training ground incident" just doesn't sit right with me.

Much more plausable:

He was sleeping with McKenzie's wife so McKenzies Chinned him and being an ex boxer broke his cheek bone in one punch. There was a media blackout with the truth only known by the players and some staff. What with everyone at the club loving McKenzie as he is a top bloke Damo was shunned for the rest of the season leaving him with little motivation to really shine like he had earlier in the season. Thus explaining why he hasn't played to well.

If true we will undoubtedly see the departure of one of them. I just hope that someone is interested in Damo or else we may see McKenzie go to Charlton.
