hard to see how he'll fit into the team

he isn't going to play up front ahead of Earnshaw and he's way too lightweight to play in the 3-man midfield that Hucks necessitates. McVeigh unfortunately is one of those players with a really nice touch of skill but who isn't quite prolific enough to play as a striker or have quite enough presence to play in midfield. More of an "off the bench" type of player (at least at this level of football)
