What I did was................. .................... ..

It was either Tescos, Mozzers or Asda own brand burgers. They are made with soya not quorn.

I used Warburton's sesame-seed hamburger rolls. They are already cut and a lot like McDonald's burger rolls. Place them with the inside down on the BBQ (or a dry frying pan with no oil) for a few moments to warm through - cos that's a lot like what McD's do.

I then built the burger in a way very similar to how McD's do it - burger sauce (like the one in Big Mc's) on the bottom part of the roll. Then added shredded iceberg lettuce.

When I cooked the veggie burgers I brushed them with oil so they wouldn't dry-out. I melted some cheese on them.

Burger relish and mustard was available.

I think people assumed that it must have been a meat burger because I made it in a way similar to what people are used to with McD's but I made it better.

I'm the only one in the family who is veggie and I don't mind cooking meat for others so people had assumed that I would be making veggie burgers just for me.
