I am v carnivorous, whereas Mrs n is a vegetarian and partakes in the quorn. I can't stand the flavourless, weirdely textured nonsense.
I've bbqd quorn burgers, they get very dry, very easily.
I could imagine, at a stretch, with huge dollops of masking mustard, salad, cheese etc, that someone might not notice straightaway that they are eating quorn or meat substitute.
But given how *good* a good beef burger is, the idea that people would consider a veggie burger to be the best they had eaten in ages and not realise they were meat-free is hard to believe.
However I am more than happy for Larry to link me up to these particular veggie burgers and try them out.
