for me it's that being an England "fan" is so different to being a Norwich fan

that I've simply never really enjoyed it, or never in the same way at least. .

The vast expectation surrounding England and the assumption that we "should be" beating most teams is something totally alien to Norwich mostly and I find it quite unpleasant, particularly living abroad and having had it thrown in my face many a time when England inevitably f**k it up.

Fans of other teams like Man utd, Liverpool etc might find it a lot more akin to their football experience and therefore more pleasurable (aside from actually winning things occasionally)
