Question. Is it ok to cancel an Internet order when....

I basically bought something on the net last night and this morning the company I bought from sent me a promotional email offering 25% everything on site. Is it ok to phone up and cancel the original order and then to make a new order using the 25% discount?

just tell them you want to use the discount code or you'll cancel the whole order

Assuming the discount wasn't offered only because you had placed an order, then yes
