Very frustrating first half - weren't by any means bad and certainly pm much better than the last game I saw at Brum. We edged the first half and our players had so much more technical ability than those at Forest. We were just lacking a bit of urgency up front and guilty of one too many passes at times.
Much better in the second half - more purposeful and fluid. Murphy played very well, as did Jerome working their defence. Wes was his usual good self (penalty miss aside which I KNEW he would miss).
Martin was assured at CB but man of the match for me was Dorrans. Not for his goal but his industrious work in breaking up forest moves and getting us forward with very good passing.
Howson too looked back to his old self - no one really looked poor. I wasn't sure what to expect today, but left mightily pleased and reassured after seeing the Birmingham game and having read comments on the subsequent two home games.
