Excellent result and sounded much more encouraging performance wise

Apologies to those concerned why I did not post after the goals but had to leave to drive my step son to London so was on the motorway.

Anyway we are now nicely placed and as the Newcastle result shows other teams will screw up in this league so it's all about relentlessly grinding out wins.

Sounded like the balance and passing going forward was a lot better today, possibly partly because Wes played well but also maybe as we did not have a central midfielder playing wide. I love Tettey but perhaps in some games Neil will now feel he can play without an out and out holding player and I hope that when he does play a holding player he does not continue to try and shoe horn in three central midfielders.

Still maintain Wes should not take penalties and that the defensive organisation is not quite what it should be but we are in a good place generally.
