Valenica is brill...

Very posh hotels at very low prices and cheap flights. Brill public transport from/to the airport so you don't need to hire a car. City centre seems very safe at night.

Quite like Norwich in that you can easily walk all around the centre... but Valencia has a massive beach.. and some breathtaking modern architecture that looks like something from Star Wars... and the baroque cathedral is the best example of it's kind. The indoor market is brill.

There is also a Sealife type of place that is rated as the best of it's kind in Europe. Beluga whales!
