A story that will be read one of two ways

Either

a) Isn't it brilliant that better off members of that society freely provide food to less well off members of that society on a regular basis, as part of their religion. Wouldn't it be nice if members of other religions, or our society, did this in a widespread and organised way like that?

Or

b) How barbaric, to kill animals where people can see. Abbattoirs should be kept well away from the rest of us. No-one wants to see where our meat comes from

(or c) "I'm a vegetarian, and a little smug about it", I guess. Wonder how many wrothveggies there are? I'm a carnivore, so count me out...)
