Just back from the game...

Well we achieved the near impossible by looking like a good team who was playing well and threatening to win by a cricket score whilst simultaneously playing badly, being overrun and looking vulnerable; the first half having marginally more of the former, the second half far too much of the latter!

After 35 years I've concluded that over analysing such events is pretty worthless so I'll keep trusting serendipity to make it all ok in the end.

Last time Wigan came 'a callin' we dominated the game but they left with the points after an early sloppy goal... I'll take the 3 points and the incongruous victory, thank you.

Night night... Up again in 4 hours!!
