It's an odd one. We won, again, are fourth, just two points off top

Sign of a good team is winning while playing poorly and all that. Plan Murphy is working rather well. It is not possible to pick our best XI without leaving some really good players at this level on the bench. And all this while we've still got a couple out with knocks.

And McGovern seems like a great signing.

And yet...we've played weak teams lately and stronger teams will punish us much more harshly if we keep going to sleep on 70'. To paraphrase Boycott we have to keep our foot on the throat. Plenty of work to do on the training ground.

Still, second game in three days, the players gave everything on a hot and humid night, and we *did* win.
