Well, it's a fact that bright clothes and big patterns make people look bigger

and keepers try to make themselves look as big as possible to put-off the oppo.

Of course how much of a difference it makes is highly debatable cos there are so many other factors as to how good the keepers is, how good his team is at defending, conditions, how good the oppo is, luck etc.
