He's canvassing support

Some will say it was ill judged and he should have been better advised because UB40 had an acrimonious split and will link/compare that to the shenanigans in the Labour party of late with, in particular, the media trying to make hay out of it all, which in itself is pretty saddening.....the link is tenuous and is much ado about nothing anyway to be honest.

I suspect those who cringe at this endorsement were never likely to vote for him in the leadership battle anyway.
