Maybe, but your post suggest that was the extent of their investment, which I am certain it wasn't.
Fair comments about Gunn, Adams & Roeder but at least give credit for Neil, rather than just calling it 'lucky'.
McNally & Lambert saved the club from ruin.....yes, but lets not gloss over it was Smith & Jones who appointed McNally who in turn appointed Lambert.
