Hope & Norwich City... is it the hope that kills us but also keeps us going

Imagine being an Ipswich fan?, well quite frankly I fear we wont have to wait too long to find out.

The game is changing and our ownership structure could leave us behind, it is safe but not ambitious.

There is no guarantee foreign investment brings success but the tone and language, or certainly my interpretation of the language so far used by Moxey suggests the board are satisfied with the status quo.

Faced with the choice i'd probably gamble its as much my club as it is yours but in reality Delia rescued us when we were f**ked, so she owns it. I almost had my head kicked in for chanting against her at Carrow Road the yr we got relegated to Lg.1 but I fear the safe way could have the same impact of a new owner gone wrong.

There is no bottomless pit of money at Norwich (unlike NUFC & AVFC) but you can at least maximise your resources which we have clearly failed to do this summer...

We have an inexperienced manager, a board and recruitment team that haven't given us the best chance to get back up. Whoever comes down next season will have more resources again to throw at relegation, this is our best chance to go up and seemingly we have got it wrong already having promised we'd learn from our mistakes.

Add this to Moxey's clear indication we have a "safe" board and absolutely no intention of new investment means that the next 2yrs are pivotal.

Go back up we have another crack, miss the chance and with no chance of fresh investment the club stagnates which sucks out the hope...

Perhaps this is too many words and perhaps I fear I am over reacting but Moxey sounded far too much like Neil Doncaster for my liking today!.

Rant over
