If you are looking for the best mountain biking in SE Asia then you might find it elsewhere. Central Vietnam (Hoi An/Hue/Prao et)c is very good but very hilly, I'm only doing Cat Tien on this occasion because I have a week in Saigon with the family and just want to get out for two days.

I've cycled in Cambodia where it was pretty flat and unchallenging but equally as enjoyable thanks to the people.
