To be fair, I'd be amazed if he lasted more than a week on the show.

He knows this. One week on the show on international weekend. Two at most and he can't make one game. He gets some publicity, does something extra-curricular that he wants to do, which he has a right to do, which doesn't negatively impact the club or his role in it one bit.

Seriously, what is people's problem with this, beyond either a political distrust of the man and a personal dislike of the show he's appearing on?
