We all know Balls has other, more pressing, interests, and that at best he is doing us a favour by stepping in as Chairman when we needed a hand on the tiller (the cynic would say that he is using us and Delia to launder his policital reputation).
Quite why the Club thought he would be an appropriate choice as a Chairman of a newly relegated football club, in such a pivotal season for the Club's entire future direction, was - and remains - utterly, utterly incomprehensible to me.
So yes it's a bit silly of him to be appearing to be so uninterested in the club/aware of its fans, but he shouldn't even be in a position to be making such a mistake in the first place.
It's an appointment that, to me, says a huge amount about the owners' ambitions for this Club.
