Oh no he didn't!

It's actually much worse than you say as we've lost the three loan players we had last season (two strikers and a right/centre back).

Our squad is considerably worse than the one which got relegated.

It's better in some (notably attacking midfield and defence) than the one which went up the season before but definitely worse up front.
