Course we don't have £50 million to spend like Villa but we

don't need to spend £50m. We only really needed to spend on a couple of key positions to replace Redmond and buy a couple of strikers, preferably one being proven. I don't think that expecting a club in our position to spend a bit on the right player on a "speculate to accumulate" basis is too unreasonable is it?

We may still bring in that striker of course but the signs are that we are taking a punt on this loanee.
