Basically this league is now a bear pit with owners prepared to do what it takes to get up

Which is why having done the hard bit and got up our utterly, utterly pathetic effort to stay there last season was so frustrating.

And why we simply cannot waste the opportunity the parachute payments give us because if we are still here in two years time our ownership model means we will be unable to compete with even the likes of Bristol City financially.
