why do we still have bank holidays when most banks do internet banking?

surely they don't need to have all these bucksee days off do they? not that i've got anything against bankers as i can still bank using the largely execllent internet banking facilities available on the worldwideweb but see f**king leeches like oh let's use florists as an example, why do they have to take an entire day off just because it is a bank holiday? huh? petrol station flowers it is then. w**kers.
