Good players there are hard to come by and expensive though.

Speaking of which we come to the major shortage up front. Jerome is not a top top striker even at this level and he is basically the only striker we have.

That's incompetent management whichever way you look at it.

It makes it 100% obvious to any selling club that we are completely desperate. If I was selling a ten million pound striker and Norwich called me my price would go to 12 or 13 immediately. So given that we would only ever pay 8 or 9 if they are worth ten any deal is going to be hard. The club should never have accepted RVW leaving until a deal was in place.
