Yes it was and I can see his thinking but.....

i still don't feel he reads the game well. Mulumbu was playing pretty well and the Mulumbu/Tettey axis had a pretty good grip on the midfield. It's almost like Murphy for Mulumbu was a pre-planned sub if we need to attack whereas the reality was Naismith was doing nothing second half and I think we would have been better off maintaining our grip in midfield and changing further forward.
