Time for some hot lawnmower chat to get the weekend going...

So normally we have a man with a mower who comes round every 3 weeks and does the lawn, 20 dollarydoos, job done. The head of the household decided to do some quick 'back of the napkin' mathematics and came to the conclusion that it's cheaper to buy a mower and a 'whipper snipper' (strimmer for those in the motherland). Not to mention the mowerman is not the most reliable of people.

So I was sent on my way to Bunnings (the Strayan B&Q) to make some purchases. I thought about going the OG route and getting a fancy dan, autobot thingy that does it all itself, however it was decided that the Fenton might have some territorial issues and decorate it with his outputs.

In the end I found a MEGA DEAL on why I could get this Bosch mower and snipper combo for only 200 dollarydoos! Wow! Checked it out and whilst the mower isn't the most physically imposing model out there, it will do the job for our small, but humble lawn.

Got it home, put it together and got stuck into what at the time resembled a small scale nature reserve. Now it's like centre court out there. It's bloody lovely. The mower worked a treat. Small but powerful and a bloody bargain, thus allowing for a carton of beers on the way home.

That, my friends, is how to spend a Saturday morning.
