And the quaint idea that anyone was 'denied important news' (from several hours earlier of course) because it wasn't on BBC1 at an appointed time is about as disingenuous and ridiculous as it gets.

Oh shut the f**k up. Watch it or don't. Actually, frankly, don't watch any sport ever because if you are going to bring Government investment or social disparity in to the discussion, then there are no winners, ever.

Olympics, World Cups, European Championships... none of them are feeding or clothing the poor. Ban all sport. Don't pick and choose, Jenkins.
