Jingoism is indeed s**t.

We're allowed to celebrate people of the same nationality doing well though, I reckon, and even if the BBC is going a bit overboard, they're not quite Pravda yet.
My wonder is what will happen to the future generations, who despite having funding for elite sports, won't have any public pitches or facilities as they've all been sold off.
