Apparently not. He's apparently a very nice chap, although he has an aura. My friend once

was at a dinner with him (she is PR to an investigator at the war crimes tribunal for former Yugoslavia here in the Hague). Apparently Kofi told a joke as she was eating chicken. It was, surprisingly, a very funny joke. She giggled and some chicken shot out of her nose onto the table.

Everybody went silent. She wanted the floor to open up and swallow her whole. Then Kofi just laughed and said he was pleased that his joke was so good, and continued as though nothing had happened.
