The longer races last over 10 minutes, so I don't think so.
They're by far the most prolific medal winners (overall and probably in swimming), certainly since the demise of the Soviet Unicorn. They probably have the loudest voice in the IOC and they've not done well in the velodrome for a long time. I've probably put 2 and 2 2gether to make 4.5, but it seems a bit of a coincidence.
