I'm alright, in fact all is all right

but after I had tests which said all was all right, if I drink regularly I either get pain or swelling on my right hand side. Or, after prolonged ignoring of said pain, I become incredibly fatigued which lasts about 10 days

Stop drinking and all these things disappear. So I haven't been told to stop, I've just valued my well being over the last year
