I Think English Domestic Football...

...would manage and even prosper without the Prem, so much interest, talk and excitement surrounding the 'big kick off' yesterday. Get the feeling the Prem will want a stand alone start of its own sooner or later, rather than coming along like a late guest a week later. Despite Channel 5's very best efforts to feck up with its coverage, yesterday felt like a proper football day all round.
