Maybe. He scored a proper Wolf goal to break the deadlock, on his debut for Vitesse Arnhem. Like NCFC, they went on to win 1-4 and start the season with huge optimism.
The opposition, Willem II of Tilburg, looked poor. Check out the highlights to see their goalkeeper let in a real "howler" for Vitesse's 2nd! The Vitesse fans clearly love their prodigal son. And he looked so, so happy. I really hope he can keep it up - seem to remember he scored a cracker on a previous debut.
Good luck to him. And it feels a whole lot better here, now that we've parted company with a frustrating square peg who was never going to function properly for us.
