I've been to Panama City, presume you won't spend much time there though

Forget when I went but it was badly hot and humid and there seemed to be fried chicken joints everywhere.

Only spent a couple of days there, but the city's pretty modern and the old town was nice. people friendly, machine-gun toting security outside banks and stuff, but I didn't feel unsafe
