We have bid £11m plus £1m add ons. The required fee is £12m plus promotion add ons.

The promotion add-ons are in my view largely irrelevant as is a drop in the ocean if we get up.

The fee is therefore really a guaranteed £12m and it appears we were only prepared to guarantee £11m (unless we now match Villa's bid).
