So in your eyes getting England to a world cup semi final makes him a hero does it? I guess you're easily pleased then. Can't think why I'd highly regard a manager who's best known for being successful with a team most Norwich fans despise but each to their own I suppose. Or is it because the bloke died of cancer? This seems to be the usual irrational reason. Just like millions of other people around the world die of it every year? Perhaps they're all 'great' too? Even the stupid ones who smoked all their lives like both my grandads. Just being a football manager (or even dying of cancer, sad though it always is) doesn't make someone 'great'. He may have been to his family but I'm guessing that doesn't apply to you. I doubt you even met him like 95% of people who idolise dead celebrities.
