Nobody wants to sell their best striker.

Unless the price is right. The price for old McCormack is clearly wrong.
He is still a decent player, and a good finisher, but massively overpriced. And just too old - a very expensive short term fix at best, with drastically reduced resale value. Fulham are taking us (and anyone else who would pay this much) for mugs.
I think we need another fast and/or big striker to compete with Jerome. We already have some great deadball marksmen - McCormack goes us little extra there. Naismith and Wes and Maddison surely give us plenty of options in the hole. Assombalonga would be my 1st choice in the Champs. Forest are about to change owners (next week) and we don't how they would receive a £10m offer. Pre-season he looks very good indeed. Obviously, must pass a v.thorough medical. He is 23 yrs old.
There are also Young PL strikers to be loaned in and many overseas options which offer better value for money than old McCormack.
