Thing is that yes Boris was insulting but Obama does have Kenyan ancestry. Boris was

implying that Obama has a grudge against Britain because we were the colonial power in Kenya. And that that is the reason Obama wanted us to stay in the EU. Which is of course rubbish but is the type of blatant lie which was easily swallowed by many of the Brexiters.
