Her speech today was the most leftwing thing I've heard from a mainstream Tory for years

Which seems odd since at the time she was supposedly pitching to famously right-wing Tory party members.
Has to be a suspicion she already had wind that Leadsom was planning to quit, and was pitching to the wider national electorate rather than just Tories.
