Dallas police

Just saw part of the news conference given by the Dallas police were they said they sent in the robot device and killed the gunman

WTF is happening the entire Dallas police force surround one guy all they had to was sit tight until he either decided to

1, give himself up
2, turn the gun on himself
3, took him out if he came out all guns blazing
4 Or he simply fell asleep

I am in no way trying to justify the gun mans actions far from it he was going to Huntsville in double quick time if was captured , but it seems someone decided to bypass the justice system , but that seems the norm in America today , yesterday it was a tail light
