absolutely true that it's not strictly a question of whether they want to be part of the Ukraine, but it also doesn't sound as if it's as straight forward as "again much against the wishes of the people of Crimea."

this isn't suggesting that the majority aren't now happy being part of Putin's ne Russian empire, just that, y'know, it's probably a bit more complicated than that...
