majority vote meaning a very narrow margin was enough to win, he failed to get any kind of meaningful deal from Brussels pre the referendum possibly because he (and they due to his reassurances) never took the fact that we would leave seriously, he promoted project fear throughout the campaign which has contributed to the post vote mass hysteria and he has created a massive leadership vacuum in the wake of the decision. Whilst I can understand his decision to resign when a new leader is in place he has disappeared off the face of the earth since rather than doing what he said he was going to do which is to steady the ship until a new leader is in place.
All of the current hysteria (in the media and the economy) is being caused by uncertainty. Much of it would be happening anyway but Cameron's disappearing act and lack of leadership is not helping. If he truly was a real leader then he would keep providing that leadership right up to the day he hands over the baton.
