there's also an estimated 250k of empty houses

and estimated room on brownfield sites for 1.5m homes

there's also claims that there's twice as much land given over to golf courses than there is housing

so yeah, under investment it is, be that by private developers having to fight the NIMBYism or councils not beaing able to replace those hoises that have been flogged off cheap

as for social/community aspects and you feeling insecure about immigrants - well again there's been a number of studies on this and those that feel most threatened by immigrants changing their way of life are those that have had least interaction and exposure to immigration - so y'know, mistaken like...

what do you think you are losing out on here though Jim? perhaps you'll think that they'll try stopping you from going out and enjoying a good old traditional British Curry on a Saturday night...
