There definitely needs to be greater control over campaign material. I was shocked to find
that there is basically no effective way of complaining about any political campaign posters/literature because the Advertising Standards Authority has no jurisdiction over political campaign material. it should not be possible for politicians to release blatantly misleading material without censure.
