This is the big point. The lies that only the next day were admitted to have been made up.

That's certainly not fair. Politicians have a responsibility as elected heads of our country to be honest with the public, especially for an important vote like this. It's no coincidence that all the main leave campaigners are scuttling away like rats now, dodging all accountability.

I have no problem with democracy. The vote result was the result and that's fair and fine, it's the fact that blatant, unsubstantiated lies were told by the very people who are running our country. That counts for both leave and remain campaigns, even though the leave campaigns lies were bolder and more ridiculous.
