We see these players through the eyes of the premier league media bubble, who have a need to present them as 'world class' to support the product that makes them money.
Who was the last england player to go and play successfully abroad?
When we have players good enough & brave enough to go play on the continent I'll start to think we might actually have some 'world class' players.
